Received my replacement Compact Flash card from Hong Kong again (256Mb Sandisk) and I still have problems using it with my Canon S30.
This CF card has been replaced twice before this, and the problem of garbled and unreadable images on the PC has not been solved. Pictures are written onto the card with no problems on the camera, and you can even play it back properly, but when you try and copy on a PC you either get a corrupted file or you get a picture that is a little messed up.
Thought it was the camera but not sure this time. Having so many problems with the Sandisk, I think I might exchange it for two 128Mb cards or just forget about it. The brandless CF cards are giving me more productive hours than the Sandisk.
